About Mitchel Floyd…
I created this style of artwork because I couldn’t find anything like it…anywhere. So it’s a style of art with an industrial vibe…some with just a touch and others that border on the Mad Max & Matrix environment. I love each piece that I create so much that it’s hard to let them go…and my wife actually wants to keep all of them…but I know they’re going to good homes. So blessed to be able to do this for a living in Perdido Key, Florida.
I think it’s so amazing to be able to create something that affects others in almost the same way it affects myself. I created this site to share my love for “industrial style” art while also creating some of the most colorful artworks on the planet! I started by creating Mean Street Guitars in 1999…building and custom painting guitars. I eventually found myself with more ideas than I knew what to do with and needed something other than guitars to put them on. So here we are…Mitchelstudio…enjoy

About the artwork…
“Industrial art”…from mild to wild!
Constructed of repurposed wood for the frames, recycled metals, plastics and parts are used to fabricate and create most pieces.
I will occasionally create some “Non-industrial” art pieces.
Each piece is also inspired by the music that I listen to before and during the creation process.
Everything is cutout and shaped by hand. No CNC machines here. So the only thing perfect about my artwork is the character each piece has from the slight imperfections. Let your imagination run as wild as the colors that you’ll see from each creation!!
